About early access.
The app is currently in development, and a public App Store or TestFlight link is not available yet. Emailing about early access starts a conversation; it does not guarantee a release date, a place in a study, or access to a working live headset loop.
Trying the website demo.
Use a recent browser with JavaScript enabled. Choose Sound, Music, or Video, press its play button, then choose “Demonstrate feedback moments.” Varied brief gaps, tiny cuts and rapid clusters appear in the audio. The video keeps moving, while the illustrative wave marks the timing and the close-up shows different interruption lengths. Choose “Stop feedback moments” to return to continuous audio. If you hear nothing, check the page’s volume control and your device’s sound settings. You can read the explanation without playing audio.
Each example runs for 20 seconds and stops if you leave the page. Switching examples stops the current playback. These examples use no microphone or EEG device and are not training sessions.
From tiny cuts to clear gaps.
Each interruption is intentional. This website example mixes 1–160 millisecond periods of silence with short bursts at 200 cuts per second. One millisecond is one thousandth of a second. The magnified view makes those durations easier to see; the scrolling wave is a simulation driven by the same timing plan as the audio.
Some interruptions may stand out, while others may be hard to notice or blend into the sound’s texture. The display counts programmed cuts. It does not measure which ones you consciously noticed or what your auditory cortex processed. These values illustrate timing and are not a specification of the developing app’s EEG algorithm.
The goal is to investigate feedback outside conscious effort. Establishing unconscious detection or learning would require separate experiments. Audio and visual output timing can also vary between devices. With reduced motion enabled, the wave shows a still overview of the timing plan.
Research context: gap detection and sound properties, attention and responses to gaps, and sensitivity to rapid amplitude changes.

Both media examples use “Reverie” by Scott Buckley, released under CC BY 4.0. We excerpted 00:30–00:50, added fades, normalized the level, and encoded it for the web. The demo adds optional, timed audio gaps.
The video and its preview image use an excerpt of Earthrise from NASA’s Scientific Visualization Studio, visualized by Ernie Wright (USRA). It shows Earth rising above the Moon’s horizon. This is a NASA visualization. We excerpted 00:50–01:10 from the silent animation, added fades and the “Reverie” soundtrack, and encoded it for the web. NASA publishes the visualization under its public-domain reuse policy.
