Website privacy

A quiet experience.
A clear data boundary.

Here’s what this website uses, what it doesn’t collect, and what changes when you choose to contact us.

The website demonstration.

The examples run in your browser. Choose a generated chord, a locally hosted music excerpt, or a locally hosted video with music. The signal animation and optional audio gaps are illustrative. It does not connect to an EEG headset, request microphone access, read brain activity, or upload health information.

Audio begins only when you press play. It stops when you stop it, leave the page, or reach the end of the 20-second demonstration. The demo does not save a personal session or a physiological profile.

Website delivery.

This site uses locally hosted fonts and assets. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts, a mailing-list database, or third-party media embeds.

The hosting provider, Vercel, processes ordinary connection and request information to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, requested URL, and browser information. See Vercel’s privacy notice for its practices.

If you email us.

Contact buttons open your chosen email application. Nothing is sent until you send the message. James receives the information you choose to include and can use it to respond to your inquiry. Please do not send EEG recordings, medical histories, or other sensitive information in an initial inquiry.

You can ask about deletion of correspondence or how it is handled by emailing james@noticingmind.com. This website does not automatically enroll you in a mailing list.

The future iOS app.

This notice describes the marketing website, not every data flow of an unreleased iOS app. App-specific disclosures, permissions, and retention details will need to accompany a distributed app build.

External links.

Research publications, Apple, Vercel, and any other linked services operate their own sites and privacy practices. Visiting an external link is your choice.
